For nearly an entire decade starting in the early 1980s Craig Browning has served as a special effects and design consultant to numerous marketing and promotions groups including RD International; The Immada/Schulty Group; Exhibit Pro; Kent Television; Rogers & Cowan, Inc.; and The Ultra Group in Paris, France.

Though noted for his creative mind it wasn't until he teamed up with illusion designer Ken Whitaker and the Creative Illusions team in 1993 that Craig Browning gained honors for his contributions to the world of Professional Stage magic via "Shadow Vision" (co-designed by Whitaker & Browning) which gained prominence within the industry via nomination by magician's Abb Dickson & Harry Blackstone for "Illusion of the Decade" through the Academy of Magical Arts & Sciences, Inc. Browning is also credited with cooperative design development with magicians Franz Harrary, Dean Hankey, Timothy Law, and Michelangelo (as well as others...)

As a Performer Craig Browning has worked throughout the United States with his own productions as well as serving as technical support to major illusion productions including but not limited to... Hall & Christs World Attractions "Wondercade"; The Magic of Kirby Vanbirch - Branson, MO.; The Magic of Joaquin Ayala ("Spellbound" * Las Vegas); The Blackstone Show * Las Vegas; and his own "Evening of Enchantment" macabre programs.

Past Corporate Clients have included Sears, IBM, Ely Lilly Pharmaceuticals; Tekada Pharmaceuticals; Ford Motor Company; Lincoln-Mercury; and Southern California Wines just to name a few.

Past Private Performances have included personal demonstrations for Presidents Nixon, Ford & Carter as well as Dr. Henry Kissenger, Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom, The Dom Delouise family, George Burns, Steven Martin, Carl Reiner, Brook Shields, Mike Farrell & Family, Orson Wells, Carey Grant, Lucille Ball, Horace Hiedt & Family, The Van Patten Family, and the King Family... just to name a few...

Concert & Co-op Performances have included working with Todd Rundgren, Eddie Rabbit, Grace Jones, Devo, Bob Hope, Pat Buchram, The Platters, and various others.

The Shift in Career Focus

Shortly after leaving the Las Vegas area in 1995 Craig Browning was in a serious car accident from which he broke his neck and later discovered a degenerative condition in his spine which prevented him from continuing in his work with major stage magic. The over-all syndrome ultimately leading him towards near total incapacity (wheel chair) as early as age 50. It was with these issue in mind that Craig Browning opted to sell off or donate what major stage equipment he had remaining in his personal inventory and shift his focus more towards the world of Psychic styled entertainment -- Mentalism.

Since the his recovery Craig Browning has been slowly cultivating a national reputation as one of the most learned and adept Psychic Entertainers in America today. He's retained his trademark tongue-n-cheek sense of dark humor and invented for himself a brand new sense of career that is fresh, unique and goes far beyond the known limits of traditional mentalism by combining stronger theatrical elements that most have ignored in the past. The result is a new kind of show Browning calls "Metaphysical Magic", a vehicle that hosts strong associations to his known spiritual passion as well as his love for the grand stage. Yet, it has nearly all been transferred to smaller venues and more intimate audience settings. Browning seeing how, psychologically, this mode of performance works best with groups less than 300 in size (his average audience being no more than a few dozen guests.)

A prolific writer Craig Browning has created a series of marketing manuscripts specifically dedicated to the Psychic Entertainment industry and thus formed the new "Psychic Technologies" on-line service (officially started in April 2002).

Craig Browning currently travels extensively throughout the United States serving as consultant and co-producer on events in Reno, Nevada as well as the Midwest. He is the adopted father of three, now grown children and proud grandfather to two-year old Selene Marie and her soon to come baby brother (due in June) who live in Ohio with the rest of the family. Marcy, Craig's significant other, running the family store in Yellow Springs, Ohio with her daughter Medina.

Craig Browning is a strong supporter of Public Literacy and uses his shows as a charity based vehicle to encourage book donations to local groups, especially those working with young people in the inner-city. He is an advocate of endangered species and supporter of the U.S. Wolf Reservation located near Pyramid Lake in northern Nevada where his own pet wolf currently resides.
